About
Jason attended New York University and graduated with his BFA in Film/TV Production, as a University Scholar and Founder’s Award Recipient from Tisch School of the Arts. His projects brought him welcome recognition of several of his works as he was a top ten finalist for the Coca Cola Refreshing Filmmaker’s Award and won the Wassermann Award for Best Film and Best Director Categories at the 2006 First Run Film Festival at NYU for his romantic comedy short, IN LOVE. Most recently he was awarded the grand prize for Kevin Spacey’s TriggerStreet.com 2009 Stella Artois Short Film Project Award for his film, THE PERFECT TIME.
He worked in production and development at Scott Rudin Productions, post-production work at IFC (Independent Film Channel), publicity for Paramount, and in production for Martin Scorcese’s THE DEPARTED. He currently works in post-production at JWTwo in Manhattan as an Assistant Editor and continues along his path of writing and directing.
